Peter and Chelsea met in AP calculus class and became high school sweethearts. Peter was initially intrigued by Chelsea’s outstanding ability to solve math problems but soon fell in love with her mutual desire for travel, delicious food, cocktails, and laughter. In 2016, Peter planned a trip to the Washington D.C. under the guise of helping a friend with her photography website. At the Lincoln Memorial, Peter surprised Chelsea with a proposal for marriage while her friend captured the special moment from a short distance away.
The wedding was planned to incorporate Peter’s Puerto Rican heritage, all things tropical and beachy, and Chelsea’s favorite colors, hues of purple. The tie was a sense of celebration as both Peter and Chelsea are first-generation college student graduating with a PhD and JD. They were excited that this would be the first wedding family members would attend from both sides and to make it all even more amazing was the beautiful dessert bar and signature cocktails!
Friends we hope you love a few of our favorites from this beautiful beach family wedding.
Special thanks to all the AMAZING vendors that made this rainy day so beautiful!
Love, Andrew & Tianna
